Really didn't expect to be posting this ... we have lost our beautiful Misty 8...8...8... Will update more asap, just wanted to let you all know.

Thank you all very much. Sitting here cuddling the cat and trying not to look at my empty cage :( She showed us it was her time to go, she passed at vet's yesterday afternoon. She had had dental problems and combined with old age I think it got too much. I have had real issues again with the Internet so haven't been able to get on and update you and ask advice etc before yesterday, ironically.

Misty was such a special piggie and will be really missed here, I am thankful to have had the time we did with her. On the evening before she sat with me and Mr P and enjoyed lots of cuddles, and chopped and grated norms. I am so glad we had that special time with her, perhaps she waited until we could have one last lovely memory.

You've got me all teary again now. Huge hugs.

They often have a way of giving you one last special moment with them. She was a wonderful piggie and would have known how much you both adored her. She'll always be close by in your heart.

I am so sorry, RIP little piggie. They do seem to know ....my last piggie, was in his run in the garden and we were going out. I went up to him and took him out of his run. Gave him a cuddle and a kiss. He walked around his newly cleaned cage, nommed a bit of dry food and had a drink of water. I rubbed his little nose and he settled for a nap. When we got home an hour later he was still in the same position forever asleep. Sorry for your loss. little sweetheart. xx
