Pandora is having some bladder issues, so i want to switch her pellets to low calcium/ healthier pellet quality.. but she loves S.S !
She gets low calcium veggies- but i am unsure what pellet brand is best for both low calcium and tasty.
Pandora is on science selective and quite fussy-
i tried the vet care urinary support ones- she wont touch them- are any of the lower calcium ones tasty?
I saw S.S do a grainless one that seems low calcium- is this any good? I looked at the chart- but i am getting so confused- i was going to use Rosewood grainless ones-but i saw they are higher calcium than the S.S shes on atm.
Any recommendations are welcome- as shes a fussy and stubourn girl lol.

I also feed urinary support tablets by owbow daily- and she now loves those.

Thanks in advance

Thanks Lee.
I have book marked the pages to use for reference :).

I hope S.S grainless is okay as i know she likes s.s normal- i just noticed some people were put off by calcium carbonate in it? x

Calcium carbonate is actually in a lot of the nugget foods available on the market at the moment, including the non-grainless Science Selective and Burgess excel. Its used in most foods to provide a source of calcium.

SS grainless is a good food and obviously lower in calcium than the standard SS, so would be a good place to start. I don't know how palatable it is for pigs yet though as it's new on the market. A lot of grain free foods take a bit of getting used to for pigs.

@Flutterby Any idea mate? Ruth did an amazing spreadsheet on pellets

I am also looking for a low calcium pellet, so far i have found oxbow cruisine the best. Also have read Sherwood is even better but we cant get it in the ok. It is so expensive to ship to the uk. Hope that helps.
