Hey all,

Does anyone have a liat of low calcium veggies they could share with me please before i do an internet search.

Piglet had a bladder stone removed today! It tried to escape but was too big!

I’m sorry to hear about the stone. I hope your piggy recovers well.

Most calcium comes into the diet via pellets and water. Ensuring pellets are low calcium (science selective grain free is often recommended) and kept to one tablespoon per days, and also ensuring water is filtered helps reduce most calcium intake. Avoid feeding spinach, kale and parsley as these are high calcium.

Ah poor piglet - you’re right to be wary of calcium in a piggy’s diet.
You’ve had great advice from Piggies&buns.
Filtered water is essential and those pellets that are very low or calcium free.
Hope Piglet is back to normal asap 🥰
