I went up to the Midlands today to pick up the 2 new cages from Sodapops....

After JUST cramming them in the car (literally, with millimetres to spare, and the cage sitting on my shoulder!) I managed to get them home and unload them single handedly....

Then came the construction!

After an hour and a half, the first cage is up! The boys don't have access to the mezzanine floor yet, as it's currently 10.10pm and I haven't even started dinner yet! I'm going to modify that for them tomorrow, but they're in, and they're loving it!

Unfortunately... due to a combination of my stupidly small house, and the HUGE cage, I'm pretty much trapped in my room! I can barely move!

Tomorrow I shall be dismantling their C&C and *hoping* that this cage will fit in the space under the window. If it doesn't, well, I'm in trouble! Then I'm going to have to rearrange my entire room to try and fit the 2nd cage in!

I think it's a good job I'm without a car tomorrow, as it's going to be a busy day!

Rofl! You sound like me. :)
I was trying to make our C & C's bottom floor flat more accessible today and decided to use an old trestle table as part of my improvements. This involved getting it out of the garage, taking the legs off, moving them over slightly, putting them back on, etc, etc
Got it into the kitchen ( and it's a big heavy old thing ) only to find it wouldn't go any further mallethead....soooooo had to take the legs of AGAIN move it all through the house and then put them back on again! mallethead
Good luck with making your space fit your C & C cage - we really do revolve around our piggies don't we?! :))

WOW - not only did * get 2 x 5ft cages in a fiesta - but you managed (with my instructions) to assemble a cage in 1hr 30 - I'm impressed :))

Don't forget to spoil us with pics when you get chance :)

I will do! I literally cannot move at the moment, so when everything is sorted, I'll show the world how I fit 4 pigs, a chameleon, a hamster and myself into 140sq ft of living space!

men eh? they've a whole new world (or cage) to explore and they would rather lounge around doing absolutely nothing xx>>>

This can only be achieved with some kind of magic obviously.
