I can't believe I am posting this.

Our lovely little baby Lucky died on the 2nd day of our holiday. We are heartbroken, we were so sure he was getting better, especially with all the good wishes from everyone.
The lady at the pet's hotel said he died in his sleep. Apparently he was fine and eating everything they gave him apart from that last bowl of Science Recovery which he just didn't want.

We buried him next to Fuzzy yesterday.

Rest in peace little lamb, you were so strong, our little soldier.

Oh love i'm so so sorry, you tried everything :'( :'( :'( There's times that no matter what you try it's just they have to leave us and be at the bridge :'(
RIP Lucky :'( :'( :'( run free little one, lots of grass and play mates to be with, don't worry you'll be looked after by all your friends from here. What a little sweetie you're now with your friend Fuzzy, two little angels together at the bridge :-* :-*

Oh no :'( i'm so upset :( lucky was a very special little piggie, he was gorgeous and everyone was willing him to get better :( he was a little fighter and i don't think any of us expected this to happen :( I'm so sorry for your loss you must be devastated. You did all you could and although he had a hard time i'm sure you gave lucky the best life possible even for the short time he was with you. RIP lucky, you'll be missed by everyone :'(

Oh no! I'm so sorry Katie - I was just thinking of you and Lucky last night. :'(

You did your very best for him, we were all rooting for him - I'm really upset that you've lost another baby piggie so soon, it just seems so unfair especially when you recently lost Fuzzy too. There was nothing you didn't do for him, he was in the very best of hands but it was not to be. Lucky was so beautiful, what a gorgeous little boy - treasure your precious memories of him and Fuzzy.

Ah, Katie, just got your email, I'm so, so sorry about Lucky, he was such a little fighter. And what a sweetheart, I love that pic of him. At least he has Fuzzy at the Bridge to meet him. I just read out your email to Marty and he said 'Awww, poor little man' he's going to leave a seperate message later.
It's awful coming back from holiday to find out, we totally sympathise. Lucky's life may have been short but it was filled with love and care, as was Fuzzy's, you did all you possibly could have done.

RIP Lucky and join Fuzzy, I bet they'll get up to all sorts of mischief! :smitten:

Like Julie said - in his short life he had the very best care and attention... and the best piggy mum he couldve ever hoped for.

Thanks guys. Just feel so guilty, wish I had been here in case he was poorly or something, but when we settled them all in at the holiday home he seemed the perkiest of the lot - all the others ran off and hid in the strange new hutch, but Lucky toddled straight over to his water bottle and didn't seem at all fazed, which made me feel a bit better.
Hope he is having fun with Fuzzy now, little darlings. 0:)

Hi Katie, I'm so sorry Lucky has gone, you did everything you could but I know what you mean about wishing you'd been there.

Take comfort in the fact that him and Fuzzy are now having a blast at the bridge as I know I found it comforting knowing Blaze had Scampy waiting for him there.

Oh Katie I'm so deeply sorry. :'( Only just seen this post as I didn't come on here yesterday. I can understand you feeling guilty but you did absolutely everything you could.

i hope this doesnt upset u but i just thought this up as i went along cos i thought lucky looked like a wee lamb

katie had a little lamb
his fleece was white as snow
but everywhere that Fuzzy went
Lucky was sure to go

it followed him to the bridge one day
to see what they could see
and joined the other forum pigs
to, forever, frollick happily!
