they are gorgeous, i had a litter of 3 born last year that were the same :( it took about 3 days before they were up on their feet, sadly only 1 of the babies survived, fingers crossed your little bubs gain strength and that the little girl is soon moving around xx

AWWW - they look sweet! Best of luck for the little girl; sometimes, it can take a bit of time for babies to get going.

Awww bless them! How is the little girl today? x

OMG, they are so sweet. Hope the little girl pulls through. It's heart wrenching to see them so weak, isn't it? Good luck with them and hope Mum is doing well. Let us know. X

Good morning everyone,

Just checked on Lulu and her babies and the little girl is still with us, thank goodness. She looks better today, her head looks less flat. yesterday her head looked so flat because she was always on her side. She fell out of the cuddle cup twice yesterday and I had to put her back. But the second time I watched to see if she would try to walk back. She was wheeking a lot and it was very sad. She tried very hard to move about and kinda of scooted to the cuddlecup on her side. She is very uncoordinated. I'm wondering if she might be disabled? Or is it just that she wasn't developed enough?

I'm actually wondering if they were premature. They are quite small. I'm glad she is still alive today. i was worried this morning when I woke up to go and look. Afraid of what I would see...

Lulu's milk has come in. I checked last night and she is nursing and it looks like the girl is nursing too. Its so hard to tell because their hair blends well with each other as they look like Mom. And I dont' want to scare her and lord over her as she is still nervous of me. She's only been with me about 2 weeks. I'm going to look for a scale today. Would a department store have a small scale?

Lulu's definitley nursing both of them! Yay! And the little girl is starting to walk but she is very wobbly and falls a lot. But she is making progress!

Glad to hear she's doing better. You can use kitchen scales, something that goes up to 3 or 5kg. Digital are better so you can get acurate readings, especially when they're little. I found that flat ones that you put your own bowl on are best because my boys are a bit too big for the bowl that came with it and end up cheating!

Great news; your girl will get better with every day as soon as her legs are strengthening now that hse has started using them.

Aww such lovely pictures! I hope that they go from strength to strength, mum looks like she is doing a good job and granny of course. :)

Pretty piggies x)

Keeping everything crossed here for them xx>>>

They are such sweeties, good to see the little girlie looking a bit stronger. :)

Just an quick update before I head off to work. Little girl has been nursing a lot and walking better. She still is falling on her side but sits up better now. She tends to lean on her brother. She can get around pretty good but still wheeks a lot and tends to end up on her back with legs pointed in the air. But she is trying really hard and getting stronger I think... I pray!

I'm nervous to leave them alone all day while at work but Lulu is being a really good little Mom so I guess she knows what she is doing ;)

I will take more pics later after work.

Lynn

Hi all,

Sorry for the lack of pig pics. No excuse just busy with work. Also the batteries are going to die on me and I'm going to try to find a couple tonight and then take some. I'll look after this update post.

Little girl is still alive and nursing. She is getting around but really stumbling and falling all the time. She has learnt to lean up against either the side of the cage or her brother. If she does that she can stay upright for quite some time. She cannot do it on her own. I believe it is a neurological problem. I've never seen this before and don't know how to help her. It's stressful and I feel bad for her. She has wheeking fits when she falls down which is practically every time she moves. She does do a scoot that gets her around the cage quite well and she is really fast.

Has anyone else ever seen anything like this? It's as though she stands up and then her head tilts and she can't seem to stop herself from falling. Her legs seem to be working fine. I thought maybe her spine was twisted at one point but I held her and it is straight. It's like her equalibrium is totally off.

I'm relieved she is nursing but I worry for her a lot.

Lynn

they look beautiful,

that poor girl!

Do you think it might be an ear problem? I know ear issues can cause problems with balance. And if it was an ear infection it may be all sorted with a dose of antibiotics. Really hope it is something as simple as this

Today they are the same as yesterday. Although I think the little girl is standing upright more than yesterday but I think it might be wishful thinking. I'm going to go and spend somemore time with them. :)
