The other day, I noticed a lump in Chunks dewlap/neck area, quite well hidden in the blubber! It is about the size of a 20p and I can get my fingers round it. I am trying to get it looked at by my vet as soon as possible, anyone had anything like this? I'm hoping it's just a cyst but can't help thinking the worst.

@Reggie&Chunk Neck lumps can be various things. I've had a pig with it and it was an abscess, and one of my current boys has a lump and he has suspected thyroid issues.

Hope it is just a fatty lump or a cyst. We have had a piggy with a fatty lump in Dewlap and also one unfortunately on with Lymphoma also. Please let us know how they get on with the vet, sending lots of positive vibes

Fingers crossed it isn't anything sinister, I know lumps can be a worry!

Thank you everyone, he is booked in to see the vet after work on Thursday.

My other little boy is getting a referral to an exotic specialist after work tomorrow as he is still squeaking when toileting but have done various tests and meds and still squeaking!

They do know how to worry their humans!

Hope Chunk is OK.
My piggy Fred had a lump in his dewlap about the size of a pea. He had for about 2 years, the vet thought it was a cyst. I kept an eye on it monitored it weekly. It never grew any bigger and it didn't bother Fred.
Fingers crossed for Chunk.xx
