We've just noticed a small soft lump on our guinea pigs back?

Anyone know what this might be?

Hi! There is a whole range of lumps; it also depends if the they are sitting loosely in the skin or if they are further in the body. Most of the loosely sitting ones are cysts of some sort or other, but it could also be an abscess.
Please see a vet if the lump grows; you need a hands-on diagnosis with a lump.
