Heya! My other piggie, the fat one, has a lump on his nose, right were my finger is.115247

He has it for like 6 months and once we went to the vet for another problem and also asked about this lump. Vet touched it but wasn't concerned. In this whole time it did not grow. It doesn't hurt him, it's not itchy, it doesn't have a crust and he doesn't miss hair on it, he is not bothered by it. I would say it is as big as half of a human little finger's nail. I am guessing it's a fat lipoma if it doesn't get bigger and no other symptoms. I couldn't take a picture of it as it is under his white fur and all that can be seen is his pinky skin. Should i be concerned?

My Betsy has had a couple of fatty lump for around 18 months now. The vet said there wasn't anything to worry about. I monitor them when I do her weekly check and they haven't changed at all. Just monitor them and if they change take him back to the vet. If your vet isn't concerned then I don't think you should be either. Keep an eye on them.

Hi!

If your vet is not concerned and it has not grown, then I would not worry. Just keep it under observation and see a vet again if starts suddenly growing. It is likely a harmless sebaceous cyst.

Sebaceous cyst can be popped? This ine doesn't have a "head" so it cannot be popped, it't jump a lump under the skin and fur. I will leave it like that for now as it's now growing. Thanks

It depends on how far the cyst is developed. Please be aware that any popped cysts will refill.
Right now whatever it is, it a size where nothing needs to be donw.
