Lump on my neutered Nails đź’… testicle

About 10 to 11 weeks ago, I got my male guinea pig neutered. Everything’s been fine up to two days ago. I noticed a small grape size lump where his testicle would be he is still pooping a lot and eating a lot and looks totally fine except for that what made me notice it as he was pooping a little sideways out of the side that wasn’t swelled up . I called my vet. I’m waiting to hear back. Was wondering what it could be. There’s no plus there’s no opening. He’s letting me touch it without squeaking like I said it’s only been within the last two days cause I’m constantly looking over all my guinea pigs to make sure everybody’s healthy and happy🫎❤️ I just don’t want him to be in any kind of pain is there anything I can do right now to make sure he’s comfortable until I can go
 
No idea but that needs a vet check ASAP
 
It could be an abscess if it's come up so quickly & is so big, near his operation site.
I'd definitely take him to the vets and get him checked out, if it is an abscess he can have it lanced, removed or treated with antibiotics (zitheromax is the heavy duty one for abscesses) quickly.
Ask for some painkillers too if its an abscess.

Unfortunately abscesses can pop up very suddenly after neutering so please do get him checked over by your vet as soon as possible. Good luck.
 
Hopefully your boy won’t need surgery as Micah did and will recover with a different treatment
 
I’m hoping so just payed 800 on his surgery want him to just feel better a not be in any pain . He’s eating and going poop normal am seems to be I. Good spirits
