As I was doing my weekly health check I noticed this small white lump on the end of Daisy's nipple. She has lost a bit of weight in the last month (around 75g) but otherwise seems happy and healthy and is eating as usual.
I will get take her to our cavy savvy vet this week but I just wondered if anyone else had seen something similar or could give me an idea of what it might be
Thanks.

If you have any concerns about lumps etc then really a vet check is the best way to find out what it is. Sorry not to be more help, but it’s not possible from the photo to reach any sort of conclusion. Good to hear she’s still eating drinking and happy. Hope your cavy savvy vet can shed more light.

Hi! It is impossible to tell what is going on from your picture. Please compare with the other nipple. If there is a discrepancy in shape and texture, then please see a vet on Monday. Make sure that it is not something like a calcium pee etc. that the nipple could have accidentally picked up. Crustiness around a nipple is a symptom of ovarian cyst activity.
