Lump On Piggie's Head

Hi all, I took my piggie to the vet a few weeks ago about a small lump on her head that had been there for about a month. They said it may be an inflammation from a small injury and to keep an eye on it. However, it seems to be (slowly) getting bigger. It also seems to keep bleeding a little and scabbing - maybe because she keeps scratching it? I was wondering if anyone has seen anything like it. Any insight/advice would be appreciated. I wonder if it is a tick? :( Definitely need to see a vet again, or a cavy savvy vet, please check our vet locator for one. I'm a bit worried about those white specks in her fur too, they look like some kind of lice perhaps? The vet should be able to advise treatment once they diagnose for you :)
 
Thank you for the replies! I thought it may be a tick also when I took her to the vet the first time but the vet said it wouldn't be as it had been there for too long (they just took off the scab and cleaned it) I will definitely be taking her back asap and hopefully get it diagnosed :)
