Hi guys in October last year my piggies had a lump on her neck vet said don't seem like cancer just leave it and see how she goes if she not eating etc bring her back anyway
Yesterday noticed there was discharge gentle squeeze it and thick cottage cheese like stuff came out I cleaned it with boiled water cooled down with salt I've look at it this morning still not fully drained still more to do do you think it be a vet job or could I just keep draining it and using the salt water
Thank you

See a vet definitely 👍 Could be a cyst, an abscess or something else entirely. It may need marsupialising by a vet.
If it is an abscess, it's likely to need flushing regularly.
Good luck ❤️

Hi

I agree with @Wheekallweek .

It sounds most likely just like a burst harmless sebaceous cyst, which are known for their cheesy filling; but which will unfortunately refill and may ultimately need removing. However, it could also turn out to be an abscess.
Cancer would be less likely but seeing the rather delicate location I would recommend to seeing your vet again.
