Coco pig has a lump! She's eating, popcorning and doing everything else piggy as normal. I'm going to get her a vet appointment as soon as possible but wondering from experience is this likely to be a cyst or something else?

When Hetty had a lump it was hard and painful when I touched it but this is tiny and doesn't appear to be bothering her at all.

Good that you are having it seen. Hopefully, it is just a harmless sebaceaous cyst, but only a vet can confirm it.

Hopefully Tom can work his magic and it will be cured soon. But I also know if it's an abscess it could be a nasty . Fingers crossed.

Best to let the vet identify it. Please try not to worry too much about it.,

Please get it checked by a vet, there are lymph nodes sited in their armpits, like in humans so anything lumpy needs investigation. 9 times out of 10 they are harmless. My piggy in my pic had a large lump come up suddenly under her arm about 2 1/2 years ago & luckily it was removed quickly & was just an abscess.

We're back from the vets with a very angry Coco Pig! Needle stuck in her arm didn't go down too well. But the good news is it's a cyst and the vet said it's nothing to worry about as long as it doesn't get any bigger. I'm so pleased it's not an abscess.

I'm sure Coco Pig will forgive you at veggies time, and you now have peace of mind that it's nothing sinister.
