Just over a week ago, we took our three year old boy Arthur to the vets after seeing that he had a lump under his nipple; she diagnosed it as a fatty lump and said that we should keep an eye on it to see if it would grow in size. We've been checking it every day, and it all seemed fine until today, I placed a slight amount of pressure on the lump and brown liquid came out of his nipple. The size seems to be about the same, and he didn't squeal, but I am alarmed at the discharge- could this be a sign of a mammary tumor?
I've attached pictures for comparisons of the lump, and on picture three, you may be able to see some of the liquid on his nipple.

I would be more inclined to think it is a sebaceous cyst as the liquid that comes out of one can be dark. Could you go back to the vet you saw last week? Sebaceous cysts sometimes need draining, especially if they keep refilling. Does he seem in pain at all? they aren't usually painful.

Nope, he was completely fine when we were feeling the lump. I'll definitely make an appt with the vet.
