I guess it must have been here just recently cause I haven't noticed it this dramatically before. It's a round, soft lump thats the size of a huge marble thats under her right front arm. If I pick her up and compress the lump she doesn't care, nor when I poke it when she's relaxing. She goes about her business as normal - being noisy and hyper - but the lump is just really obvious. What could it be?

(Some optimistic answers, ie answers besides death causing tumor of death, would be nice)

My Ebony had a lump about marble size under her chin recently. 2 vet visits, 2 lots of antibiotics and its gone - it was an abscess. The first visit the vet drained it and gave me Baytril tablets which were a nightmare to administer and it never fully went away then grew again. The 2nd visit he lanced it and left an open wound which I got puss out of and cleaned it up twice a day and we also got septrin antibiotic which was liquid and easier to give.

Like your piggy my one was happy in herself, eating etc so it could be something like that ? Mine also came up really quickly .... I'm still checking twice a day that its not come back.....

Worth getting the vet to check her out then you'll know for sure and be able to treat it - oh and if she does get antibiotics try to get some probiotics too to help her stomach....

Keep us posted

They do get little limos and bumps. Best bet is to get a vet to look at it asap. My guinea pig Smudge had a small benign tumour on her side. It was on the skin and moved around independently from the body underneath. It grew slowly, but in the end the vet removed it and she lived to a good old age. But if it's an abcess or a faster growing tumour it will need to be done more quickly.
