Lump

I recently got a new piggy a couple of days ago. When I went to take him out of his cage this morning, I noticed a hard lump just below his ear. It’s relatively large in my opinion and it appears to have some sort of puss in it. I called the vet and the earliest appointment they have is 8 am tomorrow, but I am so worried about my piggy and I figured maybe someone here could give me some advice on what it is.

Hi, it could be an abscess if it is leaking pus. It’s good you have a vet appointment booked as the vet will be able to diagnose and treat accordingly

It’s great you’ve got an appointment as all lumps require a hands on check.
