A girl at work is having to rehome her guinea pig due to various issues. I went to see him tonight, he is very cute however one thing is worrying me

He has a large lump under his chin/on his neck. She said she had never noticed it before I pointed it out. It was soft and he didnt seem in any pain?

Can anyone have any idea what this is? I'm reluctant to rehome him if he is poorly:(
