My freind has just recieved two new guinea pigs from a freind who no longer wanted them (sad i know). One of them is aged 2 and is quite fat. But something that is really concerning us, is it has a lump un its rear which apears to be filled with blood but the guinea pig doesn't suqeak or anything when you touch it. Anyone have any idea to what it might be? Pics to follow.:{

That doesn't sound very nice at all. Definately straight to the vets. It could be something relatively simple to sort out like an abscess but needs to be drained immediately if it is as the poor piggy will not be feeling very well at all.

I will ensure she sees a vet asap! Thankyou both for your help! Me and her owner have been very worried 8...

Safe!

It turned out to be nothing serious and theres nothing that needs to be done about it! Could grow to the size of a golfball! Thanks for all the helpful posts though :) :)
