My guinea Pig Fudge has developed serveral lumps on her back and one under her tummy =[
The ones on her back you can see as theres no fur around them. but the one on her Tummy you can't see it.

She's not that old really- well she's about 4
I'm not sure what there are caused by and i'm worried that they might be cancer =[
But she lives in a cage with 2 other guinea pigs , Caffeine and Shandy, so i'm hoping its not a skin infection other wise they'll all get it.

But as its a Sunday i can't take her to the vets today cus there closed, so dose anyone no what it might be or had something similar?

I no the only way i can really find out is to take her to the vets.

The good news: only very few lumps are cancerous! Lumps are not that uncommonn. Often they are either sebaceous cysts or fatty lumps and a guinea pig can live happily with a number of them.
You'd still better see a vet to have them checked out and see which ones need treatment and which ones are OK if they are kept under observation.

Hopefully, a more experienced member than me will come on later and can help you find out which variety you are dealing with.

Here's hoping you can get to the bottom of what these lumps are hun. I'm sure a lot more good advice will be forthcoming.

RosieHardy - do you know the breed of the creamy coloured guinea-pig (the one closest to the corner) in your Avatar? I think I used to have one like that. Thanks.

A diagnosis would depend on knowing the size, shape, position, rate of growth, consistency, and attachment of the lump, amongst other things. It is a case that seeing/feeling the lump would enable a very quick diagnosis. They are very unlikely to be of any significance. Don't let your vet talk you into anything drastic!
