has anyone got one of these.Spotted them on preloved and am totally in love. They are 30 quid each and I have no room but will save for when I need friend for present ones. Would wait for one of these
I have and I got mine from a rescue and he is the cutest piggy ever and so sweet natured. Took him to the vets the other day and they fell in love with him, he was their guess the breed animal on their facebook page and no one guessed him
I had Arran also from a rescue (he fought with my boy so he is now neutered and lives elsewhere with a wifeypig but I still get to visit). They are gorgeous but their hair is hard work. I would definitely have one again though.
I know particular breeds can be tempting but be careful about piggies on sites like preloved as you don't know their health, background and it is not always possible to bond any old piggy with your existing one. Just a friendly warning.
He was originally only going to stay with us for a short while, until rescue space became available. We fell in love with him.. so he's staying with us and going Boar dating at a rescue sometime in the near future. We would also agree with MerryPip be very careful of sites like preloved as Boar dating isn't for the faint hearted.
don't worry My head rules my heart and the 6 girls I have at the minute come first Would always try and bond before I took one on . Have peruvian and texel at the minute that I got on preloved but I knew what I was looking out for and they were in isolation for 3 weeks before I even thought about putting them with other four. Actually decided to leave them as two groups cos one of my four is quite dominant and two are very young (4 months) so decided It wasn't worth the risk of upsetting the balance between the four. Luckily I have the space to house both groups pretty well (they have the spare room so in c&c cages)
