Hi I'm Alyssa... you can call me Lyssie!
Bailey is my little gpig and I wub her to bits. I have uploaded some pics of her for you to have a butchers at... I like to show her off as she's my little precious, as I'm sure you guys feel the same about yours too... She has such a massive personality! She's friendly, bit skatty though. Loves hay and those brown pellets as I've always avoided selective eating, I found this out in the leaflet the pet store gave me:)!

Not sure what else to say really, I'm 20 and live in Surrey too...

Oh goodness, I am really sorry I didn't see the main 'Introduce Yourself' thread. I am really sorry!
 
Nope she stays in her cage alone in my bedroom. I'd like to get her a friend but I am not too sure about putting gpigs together when they arent from the same litter!

your piggy needs to have company of her own kind.
many people dont realise this at first, like me who only had one, but i got her a friend from a different litter who is 5 months younger and she wasnt sure at first but now they are inseperableand! now she is much happier and dosnt get lonely when i go out plus you get to watch them play with each other and chase each other.

no pressure but i would really reccomend getting her a friend, it dosnt really cost you more money in terms of food or anything and it will be worth it for your pig to have a friend to talk to.

Ok, I didn't realise to be honest. I don't want her to be lonely!
If I were to get Bailey a friend,
I'd get another girl and... would they have to be nuterd(sp?)?
I'd love another one... :)

Thanks I have two now one which I adopted from someone on this site! Should be ok to introduce a new girl to her if new one is younger :)
 
they wouldn't need to be neutered if both girls! there is plenty of advice on here about introducing them on here and it helpt me a lot!

most people dont realise like me so dont worry, i was the same and didnt want my pig to be lonelyx

i think it would be great if you got her a rescue friend, make sure you read up on introducing them and it would be better if you got one younger than her.

let us know if you get her a friend and post pics!

Bailey is gorgeous! Good luck with finding her a new friend, you'll see such a difference in her when shes got a friend to play with. George was my first piggy, and he spent the first 2 weeks wuth me on his own, but when he meet my 2nd piggy Alfie, the change in him was amazing, he was making soo many different sounds and behaviour that I had never seen before!

It really is great to see them playing with their friend^)

Hello to a new day... thank you for all your sweet messages :) Bailey's blushing, lol!

I am trying to pester my mum about getting another gpig for her (and me, hehe) but I dont think she realises what a difference it'll make for the little princess!

I was wondering if you guys could help me... how do I upload an avatar? I know this sounds stoopid but I can usually find it but not on here...? thankies xx
