Had a day off work yesterday so i made my first cage liner ... only managed to make 1 as i ran out of stuff to sew it together :P hehe... But here it is...what do you think...i'm very proud for a first attempt...

I went a bit mad on payday and bought 10 fleece blankets and some waterproof sheets to make cage liners haha.. i also bought new houses, tunnels, litter trays, hay racks and some willow balls for my piggies...they are very spoilt this month...

I have to say i love the Winnie the Pooh design and the pink backing... :) going to make some more and attempt my first cuddle cup at the week end.. haha wish me luck.

What gorgeous colours too - piggies like bright colours I believe so they'll be very happy with it :)
A piggy slave is never rich rolleyes ...I've got so much stuff for ours so have finally stopped spending so much but am always looking ;)

Thanks hehe, just ordered some more things for the piggies, this time some gorgeous guineas shampoo and goodies etc, this is going to be a long month, only got paid a few days ago...haha

Ahh, how cute, I'm sure your piggies will love it n.n
out of interest how did you treat your fleece prior to sewing and what is a waterproof sheet? :)) Like a matress protector? Hoping to make some soon too x

i simply just washed the fleece twice in the washing machine (using no fabric conditioner), and yes its a waterproof mattress protector for the middle layer with fleece either side. Now it has been made going to run it through the machine once more before use.

Also a point to note is make sure its a machine washable waterproof mattress protector...when i was looking i saw quite a few "hand wash only" protectors..so worth looking around to check they are machine washable :)

You'll be like me soon - holes in shoes, buying your clothes from charity shops so your furbabies can have all the luxuries they need :(|)
Can spot a piggy slave a mile off...;)

:laluot_26:That's what I call a fun shopping spree. :laluot_29:Your piggie will give you extra licks for all your hard work.

It’s always really satisfying making your own piggie things, i’ve recently started making my own liners and beds, the piggies really enjoy it, i love your choice of fleece, i feel that having boy piggies means i miss out on pretty things :( haha.
