Our sweet little Madeline pig passed away - she was almost 9 yrs old and had a great last day yesterday playing in the yard and eating grass with her herd - Mixie, Cinnabon, and Oreo. Mixie was her mate for the last 4 years so we are happy she now has Bon Bon, Chickpea, and Oreo as her family. Madeline and Mixie were rescue pigs. Chickpea is new and is expecting in a month. Here are some picts of Madeline in the garden the day before she died and one of Madeline demanding attention from her cage We will miss our sweet pig!

I am very sorry for the loss of your gorgeous girl! She sounds like she had the best of lives and could leave very easily - even if it comes as a huge heart-breaking shock to you. With a big personality and having been around for so long, it won't be easy for you to get used to the hole in your life.

RIP Madeline - popcorn free with your old mates!
 
I am so sorry to hear you lost your gorgeous girly. She was a beautiful piggy and sounds as if she had an amazing life with you. It is so hard to see them go when you have such a close bond with them. 9 was a fantastic age and how wonderful that she was able to spend yesterday outside enjoying the grass with her friends.

Sorry to hear about your loss. You clearly loved her a lot and I hope it is some comfort to you that she lived a long and happy life.
 
I'm so sorry, she had a lovely long life with you, 9 is an amazing age for a pig x
