Maggie, Sephy's new *friend*

Hi everyone, i'm sure most of you know the trouble i've had trying to get Sephy a piggie who she gets on with. Well, after trying her with 3 rescue babies and my other 2 teenagers i was beginning to think she'd hate all pigs apart from Ralfie. I had ran out of options anyway because the only other rescue who had a young sow was Graham who lives nearly 2 and a half hours away and i just couldnt get there as i dont have a car. Anyway, i was in P@H the other day and saw a gorgeous baby but managed to say no to myself. Made the mistake of going in again yesterday and she was still there. I couldnt resist and got her on the basis that if she didnt get on with Sephy (which i really didnt think she would) she could live with two babies i'm getting in a few weeks. Anyway, got her home and tried her with Sephy and after a few nips they settled down and seem to be ok together. I doubt Sephy will ever want to be best friends with another pig and she's still a nark but Maggie seems happy and has been popcorning round, there has been one nip today as far as ive seen and one rumble, other than that they seem fine which I'm astounded at, i've no idea why she likes this baby and none of the others but its working so I'm really happy :) anyway, here she is, any ideas of breeds/colours? I'm presuming there's aby in there lol! She has ruby eyes, not bright red, like a red tint to them :smitten:

Thanks everyone, she has the loudest wheek ever, its amazing that noise can come from something so small lol! I hope they become good friends too, but i will be on the look out for bullying, I dont completely trust Sephy. Mind you the baby has been nicking spinach out of Sephys mouth so shes not scared! x

Hi Emma,

I'll say it again Maggie is gorgeous! I still think she has a bit of Peruvian in her. Especially around the back end. She has the petal shaped ears and teardrop eyes and also the flat face of a Peruvian too. Twinkle was exactly the same! She is sweet! I love Abyruvians! :D

Glad Sephy has a friend, all pigs need one! :)

Yes she does look more peruvian the more i look at her but obviously most of the fur looks aby, shes got the little triangles either side of her face like an aby but doesnt have the one on the nose like Ralf so i think she is an abyruvian :) her fur at the back isnt as long as Twinkles but she does look a lot like him doesnt she? Only noticed that today taking them pics! My mum says she's really sorry to hear about Cuzzy too btw, she was really shocked and loved Cuzzy x
 
Aww bless your mum give her a hug from me, she sounds ace! Wish my mum loved the piggies like yours does! :D

Lets hope Maggie grows up to be a nice pig unlike Twinkle AKA Kevin the Teenager! Nah, he is great but knows what he wants and gets it as well. He was head butting Sunshine tonight as he wanted all the hay! Total nutcase but makes me laugh! 98)
 
;D Ralfie butts everything out of his way including people! Ive tried to section things off tonight as he's having a run round the living room but we're getting a new kitchen and the place is a bomb! anyway he has butted evry pillow, cushion, bit of cardboard and pen out of his way the monkey! as I'm typing he's actually in a bag of spinch ive left on the floor munching away ::) twinkle sounds great but i hope she's a quiet one too ;D coudnt be doing with another diva, Bee and Sephy are enough for me ;D

;D Thanks, i think i went back for her subconsciously (sp?)i went to B&Q for fairy lights then of course ended up next door in P@H lol, then 5mins later was in the car with a little cardboard box on my knee ;D i think they are getting to like eachother more, the baby has been up and down the ramp like a loon and has the loudest wheek out of all of them i was amazed!And she's been nicking everything from Sephy so she's by no means scared of her, there have been a couple of nips today but the rumbling has started now, i think thats a relief because my other two still do that, at least she's not hurting her that way and just letting her know she's boss! She was at the front of the C&C with the rest of them for veg tonight which i thought was cute and she loves climbing up and watching Ralfie from her upper level :smitten: another one who's fallen for him when he doesnt even know she's there ;D seems to be settling in well fingers crossed! x
 
Thanks Niki :) Ove been stuck in the cathedral all day at a confirmation ::) so havent seen much of them but my mum said they've been ok apart from a couple of times when Maggies got in Sephys way and she's nudged her out of the way. Jay said Maggie was coming down the ramp and Sephy going up and it was Sephy who backed down and turned around so it is sounding promising :)

Hopefully :) There is still the option of putting her with the new babies if she starts being nasty though :)

Thanks Glnis and Anne :) yup they seem ok this morning, both popcorning round when i gave them fesh hay :) Feel really guilty though i only gave Bumble and Bee one bowl of dried food yesterday and all that was left this morning was hay, poor things were going mad at me! x
