i can't do a long tribute this time. it's not because i don't love you as much maisie, but because of how much i do. the grief is so strong for you. i knew it would be for my special one in a million girl.

we adopted you back in 2009 and when you arrived you were so scared and so shy. it took weeks before you would even take food from my hand, but gaining your trust and love and seeing you blossom into a pig who felt safe and happy, was just so rewarding.

you were a mummy's and a daddy's girl. a perfect wife for chesney, and a perfect auntie figure for eddie.

you were so brave and strong. my sweet, special girl, my maisie baby, a truly special soul, with a massive love of narna's!

sweet dreams miss maisie. re-united now with your soul-pig ches at the bridge.

we will miss you so very much. we adore and love you more than words could ever explain. goodnight my sweetheart... until we all meet again. x

The Broken Chain

I am very sorry for your loss! Maisie couldn't have had a better or more loving mum. It is tough and will take time to deal with your bereavement after so many years together and enjoying such a close bond.
Maisie will always have a very special place in your heart and your affections.

That was a beautiful tribute that has bought tears to my eyes. Maisie was such a special beautiful girl, that I and many others loved heaing about.
She was a fighter and you did everything you could for her. She will always be in your hearts. Massive hugs x

Oh my goodness I am so sorry for your loss. Her beautiful photo brought tears to my eyes as well. Grief is horrible isn't it. It feels like you are broken inside. She had a lovely home with you, I remember reading about her on the rabbit forum! x
 
I'm so so sorry you lost your precious girl i also lost my first ever piggie two weeks ago my heart goes out to you x

she was just the most lovely, sweet girl. here she is with ches. the thought of them re-united brings me some comfort. they were very much in love:

I'm so sorry that Maisie has left for the Bridge. It's so hard when we lose a furry we are really bonded to.
You gave her the very best of your love and care....and Maisie had a great life with you. Sadly she decided it was her time.
Popcorn -free little Maisie - give Ches a kiss when you see him at The Bridge....and keep watch over your mummy the pair of you as she is missing you.

a lovely little girl will be joining us in about two weeks, to be eddie's new friend. x

we're not sure whether to keep her name or change it. she's called treacle at the moment. we always joked about calling our next piggy treacle because it's one of o/h's nicknames for me. but to annoy him, i started calling him treacle aswell :)) .. so it might get a bit confusing :))

i'll see what she looks like 'in pig' and decide. i don't know if her previous owner would be offended though if we changed her name, but i'll ask her at the time. :) sometimes i think it's nice to have a new name for a new home. x
 
yep a new name for a new home before we got Parker his name was fluffy lol I thought noooo so he was nameless for a few days till I thought of a name matching his personality then I noticed he was really nosey into everything so I said that's it Parker (nosey parker) lol
