Yeah, all animals seem to have this effect with me.
I used to have a really fluffy tabby cat and whenever I was ill or sad he used to come and curl up with me and stick his nose in my ear and purr. He always used to make me smile
I have depression and sometimes its to the extent that their cute little piggy faces dont cheer me up though one of my horses always does but i hardly see her as I dont live at home anymore
And what with hector having teeth issues again I just look at him and feel sad and deflated
Absolutely. I've been very sick during my early pregnancy and when at home the boys have been such a comfort. Whilst running around yesterday they both jumped up from the blanket onto my lap for cuddle time rather than me picking them up. My heart almost melted (although that could be the hormones!)

I have the picture of Bob that's my avatar as my wallpaper on my computer at work so if I'm having a bad day I can just look at it and he always makes me smile.
Yes, it does. They never fail to turn a foul mood into a good one. Every day they do something that makes me laugh. Sounds daft, but I had a photo mug done with all 3 of them on it - I use it at work so I've always got their calming influence! My avatar pic of Smudge always makes me smile as he looks like he's about to do something stupid.
When Squeek hears my footsteps, he starts wheeking and sometimes popcorns! x) That usually makes me drop everything and go fetch him some greens.
We have 3 children, and he will only wheek when he hears me in the house. That always cheers me up.
Awwww! Yes - I have only to peep in at my lovely babies and a smile breaks out across my face! I too suffer with depression and they have made a huge difference to me.
