I have a square cupboard any ideas about turning it into a guinea pig garden with grass clover mint ect to graze on is this a good or bad idea I will line the bottom

I would recommend t consider using exchangeable trays and herb pot. You'd be amazed at how quickly piggies can demolish a tray of grass or wild bird seed!

I have pots of mint and red clover would it be better just too give him sum x

I love this idea!
I don't have a garden either, so I feel a bit mean not being able to let them run around in grass. I might even "borrow" this idea. Let me know how it works out... :D

haha I'm not the only mental one growing a tray of grass then? lol i even went and scavenged dandelions and seeds to try and get them to grow. i have a single tray of grass 16 inchs in diameter its one of those circular trays you buy to go under a plant pot. it took 4 days for my grass seeds to sprout was very exciting but yes the pigs destroy it within seconds lol they lie on it an flatten it and rip the roots out so i have to keep planting seeds again etc but its worth it because they love it. i let them graze it every few days to let the grass try and recover. not sure how easy it will be to keep it going through winter without it dying off but will **** get another one after xmas. next time i maye try getting a deeper tray but its nice that they can play on it during their floor time (or i occasionally put the tray in their cages for 20 mins or so too so they have something to do) i hate the idea of them ever being bored
