Well when cleaning out my piggies i seem to make a mess with everything! the megazorb and hay especially. Ive just brought the outside run in and turned it into a cage for the boys (exactly the same as Meg and Squirrels).
Well I'm thinking of getting a big bin like i have for the food. I will need a bin for the megazorb, one for the hay and one for the rubbish. Not going to be cheap. Do any of you use anything else?
Also i seem to be going through a huge bag of Megazorb everytime i clean the piggies out mallethead How much should i be using?

Now ive got 5 piggies (only had 1 at the start) I'm trying everything to make it abit easier. Any tips would be really useful.
thanks

hi i keep my hay in a large tea chest type box that my mums dishwasher came in and a pedal bin for the dry food my guineas are in a brick outbuilding with an old carpet on the floor i still make a mess i have an old henry hoover i use out there guineas dont mind the noise

I use megazorb and am going to buy a 'really useful' 84l box to put it in to try to make things a bit tidier as I just keep it in the bag in comes in at the moment which doesn't look too nice in my spare room - which I'm hoping to decorate in the next 6 months. My hay etc I keep in a seagrass blanket box in the spare room.

I use megazorb as a light base on the bottom of the cage after I've lined it with newspaper - I then cover it all with hay. I have 2 piggies and 1 bag of megazorb will probably last me a good 4 - 5 months.

I store my hay in the recycling box we got from the council.(they've now swapped us to grey bins ) this holds 1 large P@h hay & a smaller bag. I keep my fleeces & empty Loo rolls in a large plastic toybox I mix various dry guinea pig food in an air tight Clip & lock box This holds the small tesco purple bag, A small bag of Wagg & a bag of dried dandilion leaves.
