Making My Own Fleece Liners

The liners have been in 4 days today so done a cage change. They were beginning to smell slightly. Washed them on a quick wash and they have come up a treat. The next ones I make I will use 100% cotton topper image.webpimage.webp

They look great! I might've understood you, but I don't think cotton toppers would work, because the idea of the fleece is the urine wicks through and the top layer won't feel wet on piggy feet.

Still loving my fleece! Although the ones I made aren't using 100% cotton toppers they still work well. Although Jasmine seems to be able to lift it up and chew it :(

Ordered some more fleece to make some more

I used furniture moving blankets in mine (called uhaul pads in America). They work really well! You can get 10 blankets from
eBay (roughly 200x150cm) for £27 delivered, or 5 for £20. I've only made 2x3 liners for the hay part of the cages....not sure I could handle sewing a 2x6 for the main parts....think I'll leave that to the professionals lol X
