Making noises

Hello
I have a 5 year old guinea pig who has recently been making different noises as thoug he is in some discomfort. Then, after a while he does a big poo. It's massive actually! He hasn't got diarrhoea- more kind of constipation although he is also doing
Plenty of normal poos too. After he does the big poo he is normal again for about a week. This happens about once a week. He eats plenty of hay, pellets and fresh stuff.
Can anyone give advice please.
 
Hi, my Elizabeth sometimes does an uncomfortable poo that comes out bigger than the rest but she has been vet checked to make sure nothing more sinister was going on. I would have your boy vet checked just to make sure everything is how it should be.

Piggies don’t get constipation, they get bloat which can be deadly if it goes untreated

Hi and welcome

Please have him vet checked for potential impaction, a penis rod or something in the lower gut/urinary and reproductive tract area that pushes on it enough to be painful or something that radiates pain enough for him to struggle to get some poos out.

Guinea pigs do not suffer from constipation.
 
As above, piggies don’t get constipation.

Please do see a vet.
Please also check the the isn’t getting impacted
