Just seen this thread, Louise. I am so sorry to hear about Malcolm.
I know that he was a special little fella to you and hadn't been with you very long.
But you cared for him and loved him and he knew that.

Run free sweetheart ... have a run through the green grass with my beloved Milly please xx

Louise, I'm so terribly sorry. Malcolm was a beautiful boy with the sweetest face.

Sleep well darling.

Love to you from me and Nigel xx

Here is a picture of my lovely little man taken just two days before he died. He is the silver agouti on the right. It was strange that I decided to take some photos of him that day but I remember thinking how well he looked :(

His hutch mates Mouse and Mike miss him a great deal. The three of them were such good friends and Mouse used to wash Malcolm's ears and snuggle up tight next to him to sleep. Poor Mouse was very distressed when he passed away and kept looking for him. It made me feel so sad to watch him.

Thank you everyone for your kind wishes - I miss everything about him - his wonderful smell, the way his fur was so soft and the little head tilt he had and the way he sniffed the air when it was veggie time. Yes, Malcolm is greatly missed.

Great photo. I also thought how well Milly looked just before her sudden death. It is strange and such a shock when they pass away so unexpectedly.

Hopefully Malcolm is running free with Milly xx

What a beauty, he is gorgeous, all of your little piggies are. Funnily enough I took pictures of Buttercup the night before she died and I thought she was doing a lot better. I think we somehow know subconsciously. RIP little one.

Joy xx
