I have a Male guineapig who was nuetered. Hes definetly male I can see his testicles. He just never likes to hump anything and I've never encountered any semen coming from him. Is it normal that he doesnt do any of these things?

Yes I have to agree here, your sentence is confusing. A neutered male does not have testicles, so you can’t see them.

However some guinea pigs are less dominant than others - if he is the submissive piggy of your pair, then he won’t mount another piggy.

Where did you get him from? And who told you he’s been neutered? And how old is he?

You’re not likely to see any semen coming from him. They won’t necessarily do it, even if they have the mechanics.

Does piggy have a friend? They’re highly social and shouldn’t be made to live alone. If he is truly neutered (I’d double check with a cavy savvy vet) then he can be paired with a sow or two, personality compatibility allowing.

Hi and welcome!

Neutered boars (and I have currently got 8 of them) don't have testicles anymore; the area is shrinking again after they are removed in the operation. Neutered boars basically look like adult boar babies.
Please have a look at our illustrated sexing guide. It contains pictures of teenage boars with descending testicles, boars with fully descended testicles and neutered boars.
We strongly recommend to always double-check the sex of any new guinea pig in any case. There is so much mis-sexing and misinformation going on!
Here is the link: Illustrated Sexing Guide

Here is the link to our neutering guide. The last chapter contains pictures of the recovery, including documenting the changes in the genital area from before the operation, immediately after the operation and a couple of weeks after the operation: Neutered / De-sexed Boars And Neutering Operations: Myths, Facts and Post-op Care

Boars can range from totally over-sexed teenagers where the gonads take over from the brain to males that do not feel the urge to masturbate or hump at all at any age. As boars age and their testosterone output gradually dies down their sex drive will also gradually die the death. Any mounting will only be social interactive dominance behaviour as it is practised by both genders, sows and boars.
