When introducing two young male guinea pigs to be housed together, what do you do when one won't stop humping the other? lol...
Will he eventually GET it that they're both male and just stop?

It will depend on the piggies, our two never really stopped this, LOL Duke is the dominant one and Sully (RIP :'() just let him do it most of the time, and then sometimes he would turn and nip but never did they actually hurt each other.

Okay good to hear.. They must be housed together but as long as they're not hurting each other, I assume it'll just take time for them to get used to each other. Slowly but surely!

When introducing 2 boars, it is important to do it on neutral territory, somewhere where one or the others scent wont be...this could be the hallway, bathroom, couch, garden in a run etc. If one is already housed and you then put another one in, it could lead to fights! this humping thing is perfectly normal and may settle in time, one is showing the other who is boss. Just keep an eye out for teeth chattering and face off type behaviour, this is a prelude to a possible fight.
