Managing Impaction & Arthritis

Thank you, that looks perfect 😊 they do get a handful of readigrass every day, which is usually enough to keep Tofu’s weight stable. Just the last few weeks he’s been losing a little more and it’s added over time. He still has an appetite (as far as I can tell) so I’m hoping a bit of top-up CC will keep him going
 
Bit of a weird question, but is there a chance repeat large sperm rods can cause urinary issues/UTIs? Tofu’s having a bit of a mystery at the moment. His pain seems well managed on the higher Metacam dose, but he’s quite mucky and there’s a strong smell to his urine. Vet has him on antibiotics (baytril) for two weeks

He’s had multiple large sperm rods the last few days - I’ve removed two so far today already. Otherwise nothing obvious is wrong except his weigh being down, his impaction has been fine and only needs sorting once a week

Sorry for the TMI 😅

He’s taking critical care quite happily, and I’ve got some vet bed in for him to see if that helps keep him clean
