Mangetout

I couldn't find this on the GP shopping list but can they eat this?

My girls used to have some when we had them and they liked them and it never seemed to bother them.

They are basically as I understand it a young pea pod that the pea hasn't developed in yet and have been picked. Yummy |)

One of my own pigs, Harris, can nibble open a pea pod, eat the peas, and leave the pod 'cos he doesn't like the pod bit. Clever boy! xx

my girls love mange tout and are extra specially happy when i bring them fresh podded peas from the supermarket. They have fun pushing them around before they eat them

Minehave tried mangetout and the nibbled the edges but left the nice bits in the middle rolleyes

Will try them with podded peas though sometime if others like them

I usually get them from Tesco, the girls love them, yet to try Marty Pig on them

I have a question....can they have the centre part of a corn cob? Also I assume it can't be cooked?
