After the big fall out between Mango & Kiwi.. It resulted in me giving them both back for different reasons :( but.........

I got Mango's daughter and her friend instead! It turns out to be a happy ending as the fact that I got his daughter made it special :)
So basically I'm now proud owner/slave/mother to two.. yes, two beautiful sows.

I called the ginger/grey one Ruby, as she has ruby red eyes and my birthday is on Saturday .. Ruby being my birthstone (get the picture? hehe)

I called the dark mixed with light brown one Esmeralda, as that is spanish for Emerald which is my mums birthstone :)
There 8 weeks old and absolutely gorgeous!

Verrry cute tiny fluffy pigtures to follow! :)

I am sorry that poor Mango has gone back, too, but I sincerely hope that the two girls will work out for you!

Do you know at which age the breeder is separating baby boys and girls?

Your sows sound lovely. Sad that the boys have to go back, I hope the pet shop are going to treat Mango's war wounds.

Thank you very much! I do hope so!
I must admit, no I don't. I got them from a pet shop. But I do know that Ruby was in with her father Mango for a while, so they said..

Thank you! Yes, I was quite upset :(
They're taking Mango to a vet so hopefully all will be okay.
The pet shop owner said that he knows of someone who loves piggies and who would like Mango. :)

Baby girls can become pregnant from 4 weeks onwards, so if they have not been kept separate, you may be in for yet another steep learning curve! sorry about giving you yet more bad news. We can give you detailed advice and support on how to prepare for it in our pregnancy section, however.

Oh ... dear.. I will be starting a new thread. Thank you for your help and advice!

They're lovely. They look very small, how much do they weigh?

Ok, so, Ruby is 302grams
Esme- 222grams
There may be a slight difference in age as they are not from the same litter..... another long story :)

That is very little for supposedly 8 weeks old girls, especially Esme; I wouldn't surprised if she was younger.

Bless them, they are tiny but gorgeous x)

Aw they are so tiny but gorgeous. I hope that they aren't pregnant, I guess it is just going to be a waiting gane Fingers crossed.

I have a Ruby and an Esme too- great name choice ;)
