Mango’s New Friend

Meet Frankie adopted from Ayr’s guinea pig rescue as a friend for Mango.
Just now they’re living separately but in joined cages so they can see and get used to each other. Then when I get a good few days off together I am going to put them together so I can monitor there first few days together. Fingers crossed it works out.

They met at the rescue for a while and got on ok. There were some displays of dominance but not any real aggression which is a good thing. Frankie is about 2/3 years old.

Yes please @Katiedid! I live an hour and a half from Weymouth where you come in just go straight up the A31 and you'll find me I'll have my torch ready!

Oh, they're so cute and look identical. A bit like Erich Kastner's Lisa and Lottie - long lost brothers who finally find their way to each other. Hope it all works well with the bonding!

Do you think that piggies accept more easily another pig that looks like them? The cute picture above got me wondering.
