Looks like it's Flagyl which I have heard good things about, though not used it myself yet.

I would still give them yes, you can get Pro C from Pets at Home or your vet may stock Bio Lapis or Avipro, or even Fibreplex. Give at least an hour after each antibiotic dose.
 
Brilliant, thanks Helen. I'll swing by the vets on my way home. I KNEW there was something I forgot to ask them for. His poo's where normal this morning so i'll add the probiotics after his dose tonight. From what i've read on other threads its about an hour after his dose?
 
Heartbroken :( My little Mario has died :( Got home from work about half an hour ago, thought he was asleep in his bed. Gone to give him his antibiotics and he wasn't asleep. :no:
 
Thank you. As soon as my husband is home we are going to lay him to rest under one of the tree's in the garden. I'm just in shock. I know I was doing everything I could to make sure he was ok but I can't help thinking if I hand't have had him neutered this wouldn't have happened :(

I am so sorry, what a sad shock after he'd been doing so well. Nothing you could have done anything about, so please don't feel guilty or look for things you may have missed out.
 
Thank you everyone for all your kind words. Feel a little lost right now. We've just laid him to rest in the garden. :(

Oh no! What a terrible shock! I'd been following Marios story and it sounded like he was doing so well after having his meds - I am so sorry for your loss :(

H my gosh I really am so so sorry. You cannot blame yourself. You were so caring to neuter little Mario so he could live happily with some friends. This is just a tragic accident. I feel so bad for you and I can imagine how much pain you are in. It is so unfair he has been taken away from you. If you ever want to talk then please pm me. Hugs to you. Xx
