Mr Crosby is roughly a year old male guinea. He's a perfectly happy guinea, eats lots, sleeps lots and runs around like a lunatic.

I've recently brought him in from his run and noticed 2 marks. They look like they could be small scabs or open wounds or just simply marks... I've attached some photos (The best I could get whilst on my own) They are just underneath his belly, above his genital area.

I apologise that the photos are pretty useless. But he doesn't seem to be in any pain. Also, his cage mate is completely fine.

I just wondered if anyone thinks I should be concerned. Thank you

Do you mean his nipples? Sorry, your pictures don't work. You can just copy/paste them into your post if you have uploaded them online. Alternatively, try this (may not be compatible with all i-pads etc): How To Post Photos

My apologies about the photos.
I've just had a second look and all I can find are his nipples. I must have had a silly moment.
Sorry for the wasted post.
Thanks

No questions are a waste- you are just being a vigilant owner, which your piggies are lucky that you are!

All the best

We are here to answer all questions and help you get on the way with your new pets. You are by far not the first to stumble over boar nipples, and it is not a silly question. It is much better to ask first than to do something silly, which you may rue later.
