Marshmallow is spending the day at the vets for tests 😭

Marshmallow gave mummy a terrible fright this morning. She just did not seem quite right 🥺 so I picked her up for a quick health check and she'd lost 150g. Luckily my snake had an exotic vet appointment booked today but she's gone into shed so I took marshmallow to that appointment instead. She's been excessively drinking and she feels bony this morning and seems a little lethargic. On examination she had tenderness in her abdomen so she's staying in for bloods and xray/ultrasound.

Sally and addy are having ovariectomies today too and I couldn't leave caramel home alone so all 4 of my piggies are at the vets 😭 I'm off to cry and cross everything that my girls are going to be okay 😢😥 xx
 
Oh no I’m sorry to hear about Marshmallow - I hope she’ll be ok and that Sally and Addy get on ok too ❤️🥰

Thankyou 💖 the waiting is 100% the worst part! I'm supposed to be cleaning and wrapping presents since its my daughters birthday tomorrow but I just can't focus on anything other than piggies 🥺
 
The waiting is always the worst bit. Bad news you can get a handle on; no news you can't.

When Ella was having her incisor removed a few weeks ago, my parents took me out for a few hours to keep me occupied. Hang in there, hopefully you’ll hear something soon. I’m still keeping everything crossed x

Hope they can soon get the blood sample and Marshmallow will soon be back awake and chomping on veg.
 
Got all piggies home safely!
Marshmallow would not give them blood, the scans show she's got quite a lot of gas. So she's got some meds on order for that.

Sally and addy are also home. All 3 are a little sleepy and out of it. I've managed to get 5ml of emeraid into marshmallow, 10ml into Sally and nothing at all into Addy 🥺 I've been awake over 30hours at this point and still not cleaned/decorated/wrapped ready for tomorrow 😭

It's been a day 🥰
