I've been having a slightly worrying time with Max and 5 week old Dobby - no fighting/agression, but Max stressing himself out trying to patrol the pigloos/be the top pig (not that there is any question there with Dobby being so young!). Max has stressed himself into a UTI (no blood this morning, so baytril is helping). Suzy suggested building a mezannine, about 60cm (the cage width) by 30cm which we did about an hour ago. That way they can both sleep together under it if they want, and Max simply can't patrol it so will hopfully calm down. Well, its been in an hour. Max has figured the ramp and is happy as larry in his hayloft under his fiddle sticks having a break from the annoying baby but is coming up and down and using the underneath bit too. Dobby hasn't figured the ramp yet, but is loving living underneath. And there is lots more room to run about/popcorn now that the big hay tray can be upstairs. The perfect solution. No squeaking/chasing/purring for an hour which is unheard of.
