She started pooing blood and demonstrated all across the vets table. (It's definitley not in the wee)
She's been producing cow pats on and off but after a few days off veg and on Fibreplex it's cleared up each time until this time she had blood in her poo as well.
She's such an odd shape with everything bloated up inside her and a back log of poo it really doesn't look good.
We decided to throw everything at her for a couple of days to see if it's a nasty bacterial infection, if not the vet suspects there's something nasty inside like a tumour.
She's on Baytril, Norzol, Emeprid, Zantac and Fibreplex.
She's looking a normal shape again and is producing normal pellets again but there's still blood.
We're back at the vets tomorrow to re xray and decide what to do.
She wheeked the house down this morning desperate for veggies and is still eating fine although sleeping alot which isn't that unusal for her.
Please keep your fingers crossed for her and send healing vibes, she really needs them right now.
I can't bear to loose her as well as Gerry today.

Hi Kate, I'm so sorry your little one is so poorly, I have never dealt with such an illness so can't give any advice. However I know she is receiving the very best care and have everything crossed for her. These little one's really do worry us at times.

Me and the gang are sending Matilda lots of healing wheeks! x

I've just got back from the vets. We're giving Matilda until Thursday on all the meds as she is less bloated and here poos are normal now it's just there's still blood.
Fingers are still crossed.

Sending Maltilda lots of healing vibes, really hope she will be ok, your having an awful time - big hugs to you and love to your little girl x x

Blood in faeces in indicative of either a microbial infection (readily diagnosable) or a more deep-seated issue (not neceessarily easily diagnosable)

You need to rule out microbial infecton first:

Has a faecal sample been taken/cultured/analysed both microscopically by the vets and by an experienced path lab before any treatment was given? If not i suggest that this is done pronto regardless of what treatment has now been prescribed (sounds like treatment isn;t working so if infectious the treatment will not affect the diagnostic results)

There are several parasites and bacteria that can cause these symptoms and if you don;t know which it is, there is a real chance the meds prescribed are not going to work (especially if it is just baytril or septrin)

You need to rule out bacteria/parasites before moving on to further diagnostic tests for other causes
