So as most may know I've got 4 girls and my boy, Iggy. I've noticed when little Miss Flirt aka Tonks goes into season she's forever playing chase with Iggy and encouraging him to mate with her. It's a loud and hilarious display of her squealing like a French maid and Iggy not really knowing what's going on, mounting her and then getting distracted or falling off :))

None of the other girls try it on with Iggy while in season and he doesn't really pay attention to them, or they're mean to him.

I wonder why Tonks and Iggy have this little dance every time and the other girls don't? We all know that Tonks is a wee tart but why is it only her who wants to mate with him?

Tonks is obviously a lady with stronger hormones and therefore stronger and more notable seasons. The other girls will mate, but discretely and only when they are ready for mating right at the end of their season. They generally just quietly hang around near the their husboar until the time is right.

The real fun only starts when you have a girl with a strong season and pheromone output that triggers other girls close to their season, so you end up with a pheromone storm and several sows chasing each other for mating with the poor boy running after them - or being chased and mounted by the sows. This usually ends up with a mass mounting that looks a bit like train crash scene... :woot:
I have on some memorable occasions had three days of utter mayhem until all sows close enough in the oestrus cycle had been through it, followed by a period of utter exhaustion...
 
Haha that sounds like my Tonks! So far I haven't seen any of the other girls after Iggy's attention but perhaps they do it at night, who knows what they get up to :))

That really made me laugh, should that happen with my girls in a hormone storm I would feel quite sorry for young Iggy :)) He doesn't know what to do with one in season as it is, let alone with all of them going mad!

They're curious little creatures alright XD
