I'm thinking ov lining my my cages with waterproff matress protectors with a fleece blanket over the top would this be ok my mums just priced up some vetbed and its £23.00 a metre
Hmm..I have a masssive mattress protector for floor time, but they're very thin and flimsy so not sure whether it would be suitable for the actual cage.
have you tried finding correx? If you can't get hold of it lino is good too
I use plastic sheets which are used for under wooden floors it was from b and q and it was 12 pounds and it was huge (it did my 8ft by 6ft shed floor twice) and its really good, I use bedding on top but I am sure fleece would be good too and it protects the floor. This wouldn't be too good if you cages are going to be off the floor though as it isn't very thick so wouldnt protect the little feet from the grids but if your having them on the floor, its great.
Or like Jane said, you could look for correx or lino
