Mattress topper?

I have recently changed to using fleece for bedding, loving it so far but I have read that people use mattress toppers sewn onto the fleece instead of towels.

Could anyone tell me where to get them, best prices, best quality and if you know of a type to avoid it would be appreciated.

(links would be fab as all I seem to find is memory foam mattress toppers and the like)

I got mine from Tesco's, the single size was large enough for my cage, make sure they are 100% cotton though

If its padded it will soak up the wee

, do you want a water proof bottom too? this will help to spread the wee out so it doesnt just sit on the plastic tray below

OMG if you had asked me if 'I wanted a waterproof bottom' a few weeks ago I think I would have slapped you into next week, however my answer is probably yes.

If there are any of these handy sewing people watching (that includes you too Floydie

) could you give me a rough price for a cage liner approx 4ft x 2ft.
I **** cant afford it until mid next month but.......

I make them with the toppers/protectors, I have sold quite a few with no issues but they have to be washed a few times for them to work their best, I have been using mine for almost 18months and i love them.

I would need cage measurements to tell you a price but a 2x4 C&C is Â£30 plus Â£3 postage.
