Mavis Chirping

Morning all. I’ve read about it but never heard it and this morning I heard chirping and thought it was my degu as they make chirpy noises occasionally.

However it was little Mavis on the balcony! No idea why, I wonder if she got spooked? I gave her some grass that I had gathered that morning from the garden and she soon stopped and was back to normal! Then went back down and joined the herd for breakfast!

I managed to get a bit on video before I gave her the grass!

I thought it was my chins when I heard it the one and only time years ago too! Such a funny little noise from a piglet!

Aw so cute! Is it a naked hippo thing I wonder? Tallulah hippo chirps all the time, she has a whole set of chirpy songs she sings as well as that very insistent alarm chirp. Which she likes to do most at 3am the wake up all the other piggies, even if she isnt noticeably alarmed about anything, she likes everyone to know she's awake!

Well my husband has told me that she’s done it a few times whist I was out and he was working. He said it was very annoying and no matter what he did he couldn’t get her to stop and it was so loud he couldn’t concentrate on work! Haha. I’ve told him he should have gone and pick some fresh grass as that did the trick this morning
