I sadly write that I have lost my most handsome hammy today. Max who caught my eye in the pet shop with his good looks. He had the sweetest face and I always said that if I was a hamster he would be my type. We shared 2 wonderful years together.
He went to the vet this morning with bloat which turned out to be liver failure. We thought it best to have him pts before the toxins traveled to his brain. Lively and happy til the end. He died cuddling his mummy and knowing he was loved.
