After losing Oscar so unexpectedly, the house felt very empty, so we set about filling that vacancy.

I knew of two piggies who were very much loved, but due to their owner's ill health had to be rehomed. She tried to find a family for them to go to, but when that didn't happen, they went to Cavy Corner in Doncaster where they stayed for about a year. I asked her what she thought about them coming here and she was delighted.

They are both aged three.

So please meet Marmalade (Marmy), he with the wild hair, and Nutmeg (Nutty).

And for those who know my liking for bumshots -

Officially welcome to the Boyz! They are both gorgeous and delightful - and very spoilt!

Spoilt? My boyz? Never! lol2.gif

And yes, Marmy's hair is rather wild (and must be kept shorter round his rear end). Fortunately he loves being brushed.

They're lovely Sue, am so pleased you could offer them a home.

Wow! They're very funky :)
I'm surprised they had to wait a whole year to have their forever home, but worth the wait, as they now have a lovely home and lots of love again x

They weren't really at Cavy Corner for rehoming as such - C.C. is a Sanctuary and whilst they do rehome, piggies are also welcome to remain there. As I knew the previous owner, I asked for her opinion about me adopting them, and with her agreement, I then contacted Cavy Corner. And two very kind people collected them and drove them the 200 miles down to me.

They are lovely boyz.

Aw................ :) well everyone involved must know how spoiled they will be with you. They may have had a few changes, but it's nice that they have always been loved and will continue to be so :)

Spoilt? As if I'd spoil my piggies .... tee hee!

Actually today I had my first experience of impaction ..... sigh. Poor Marmy - I doubt if he's forgiven me, but I hope he feels better now. But I understand that will now be a regular part of our routine. Well, it's all part of being a piggy parent :)
