Arthur :) :)

CA14A1PJ.jpg

Our local petshop has had him in for months now and today I popped in and he was marked 'half price to clear'. So he came home with me, the lady said noone wanted him as he was nearly an adult. I'd seen him months ago with his brother who sold very quickly and he's been left on his own in a small cage since last July :(

He's very skittish to catch and obviously hasn't been handled much and doesn't seem to know what a pigloo or veg are, but he's a lovely pig :)

Wow what unusual markings - he almost is wearing a mask! Did the woman say what she would have done with him if he hadn't sold? :(

awwww bless, I've got an arthur, but hes called artie hes got bad attitude at times lol but your arthur is soooo adorable, fancy being made half price to clear how awlful is that?

I've had the pleasure of a cuddle with Arthur today and he's a lovely little pig!

Harry was 10 weeks when i got him and the lady said people only like the baby ones :S

Awww poor lad. At least he will be well loved with you. He looks gorgeous. I wonder why he never got picked. :(

Aww poor piggie! At least he is in a good place now! He is adorable! Thats sad that noone wanted him because he was 'too old' :(

awwww the poor thing - I HATE it when they do that and mark them to half price grrrrrrr :(

At least he'll have a fantastic life now the lucky little piggie :)

I think he looks gorgeous! :)

He cost believe it or not £4

I think that's horrendous, £4 for a life >:( I know she'll fill the cage with another baby, but he'd been there so long I looked on it as a donation towards his food ;D At full price of £8 how can any breeder make money, so why do it?

He's had a bit of veg, has left the cucumber though, and a bite to eat and keeps peeking over the top of his pigloo at me (don't think he realises he can actually go in it ;D)

£4 wow

when i bought my boys from pets at home they were 2 for £35 had i knew then what i know now i would have gone to a rescue buit i wouldnt take my boys back no way !

The poor fella, that really is horrendous.

Thank heavens you got him now :-* :-*

"Reduced to clear" - that makes me feel sick.

He is absolutely gorgeous, what a darling little face. You're going to have so much fun together.

He's stunning. Someone who labels an animal reduced to clear is not an animal lover.

Aww :-* So cute!

Will he be a friend for Fudge do you think?

He's the same age as Fudge so don't think they'll get on, but they might do alongside each other

He seems to be settling in fine thanks...... he hasn't gone in the pigloo, just makes a nest out of the hay, presumably that's what he's done in the shop. I haven't seen him eating hay yet and he didn't touch the bit of readigrass I left for him overnight. I think it'll take a while to get him used to being treated like he should be.

I think I'm going to book him and Fudge in for neutering asap and pair one of them with Lottie and Grace and the other with a new pair of sows (more pigs :D)

Then that's definitely it (David says 'yeah right' ;D)

He's so adorable! I love his coloring and his markings. :) :)Such a cute piggy

Uther Pendragon says hello to Arthur! :)

Hello Back :D

I've decided I'm not going to neuter them for now cos of the cost of local vets (and I'm worried about it) but am going to put them adjacent to each other for company and maybe you never know they might become friends :)

I'm very glad for both you and Arthur. You because you have another bundle of love, and Arthur because he finally has his forever home! However, there are two things that I can't get over-
1. a pet store so obviously sees animals as a way to make money (sold 1/2 price to clear?! unbelievable!)
2. nobody would want such an adorable guinea pig as him!

congratulations,
Kimmie
